Tapio Wirkkala Rut Bryk Foundation to celebrate 20th Anniversary with a symposium dedicated to exploring and evaluating the essence of form in the arts.

The Tapio Wirkkala Rut Bryk Foundation organizes a two-part symposium in June and October to mark the 20th Anniversary of the foundation. The symposium explores the essence and meaning of form through nine different art forms: music, literature, poetry, dance, painting, sculpture, theater arts, cinema, and architecture.

The FORM IN THE ARTS symposium aims to delve deep into what are the shapes, images, interactions and relationships between mental content and emotional dimensions? With a mission to foster a deeper appreciation and understanding of artistic practices, the two part symposium is a natural way to commemmorate the foundation as well as the artist couple’s multidisciplinary spiritual heritage.
